A well-respected public relations leader, Yvette Masterson has an outstanding reputation for driving sales through creative marketing, execution of strong editorial placement and negotiation skills resulting in solid partnerships. Yvette has over twenty years of extensive public relations experience and has significantly enhanced the images of some of today's leading brands. Starting in 1987 with Federated Department stores, Yvette worked in such roles as fine jewelry buyer, cosmetics buyer, and regional public relations manager. After a successful eleven-year career with Federated / Macy's West, Yvette was hired to further develop and manage global public relations for Benefit Cosmetics. As Director of Global Public Relations for BeneFit Cosmetics, Yvette was responsible for editorial placement, celebrity tie-ins and special events. In addition, Yvette was in large part responsible for assisting in bringing BeneFit Cosmetics into Macy's stores as a permanent vendor across the nation. After working with BeneFit Cosmetics for three years, Yvette utilized her vast connections and industry knowledge to found Y Public Relations L.L.C. (now Y Communications & Consulting Inc.) in 2001 and promote clients in the fashion, accessories, beauty, cosmetic, skin care, salon and day spa industries.
Yvette had continued to evolve with the ever changing world of PR and marketing. As a testament to the abilities of her and her team, most clients have been with the agency for many years and appreciate her guidance and hands-on approach.
